How to play Invaders

  1. Move your ship with the left and right arrows, A and D, or the yellow buttons.
  2. Press Space, Up or the blue button to fire. Only one shot can be in the air at a time, so make it count.
  3. The formation steps sideways and drops a row each time it hits the edge. The fewer aliens left, the faster it moves.
  4. Their bombs cost you a life if they land on your ship. Your shot can knock a bomb out of the air. Clear the wave to bring on the next one, which starts lower.

About this game

Invaders is the arcade classic at brick handheld scale: a five by three formation, one ship, and the famous speed-up as the formation thins. Shoot the columns on the edges first so the formation takes longer to reach the sides, and never let the last alien get low, because at that point it is moving faster than you can react.
