How to play Tanks

  1. Drive with the arrow keys, WASD or the yellow buttons. Your tank turns to face the way you move.
  2. Press Space or the blue button to fire in the direction you are facing. Two shots can be in the air at once.
  3. Enemy tanks come from the top. Destroy ten to reach the next level, which brings more of them, faster.
  4. Their shells and yours cancel each other out. You have three lives and a short shield after each hit.

About this game

Tanks is the brick handheld take on Battle City. Enemy tanks wander down the screen and, when they line up with your column, they turn and shoot. Keep moving sideways, fire down the columns they are in, and use your shells to knock theirs out of the air. The level counter in the side panel shows how many tanks are left before the next wave.
